Students with Disabilities, Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) and Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Unifi Include is the University service dedicated to ensuring the full right to education and an autonomous and informed university experience. We support students in overcoming any barrier — material, cultural, or relational — that may hinder their academic path.
We provide concrete tools to enhance individual potential and promote full academic success. To achieve this, we combine the University’s administrative expertise with the specialized support of psychologists from the Regional Reference Center for Relational Criticalities (CRCR) of Careggi.

What support it offers
We work with you to build a Personalized Study Support Plan, tailored to your needs and based on your documentation.
Here are some concrete examples of how we can support you:
- exam accommodations - you can request extra time for tests, the use of concept maps, the possibility to split the exam into multiple parts, or to take an oral exam instead of a written one;
- technology at your service - we provide, on a free loan basis, tools such as scientific calculators, video magnifiers, smart pens with speech synthesis, recorders, and specific software for creating maps or reading texts;
- inclusion tutoring - you will have access to tutors who will help you organize your study, prepare learning materials, or support you during classes and exams (such as reader or scribe tutors).

We will welcome you at the Novoli Campus (Building D1), in accessible spaces free of architectural barriers and designed to ensure comfort and privacy.
